Additional Information About the Role Outpatient Surgery Center--Sunset Hills Nurse Manager Perioperative Services New surgery center will open 10/9/2026 Staff training will begin 6-8 weeks prior to opening date Clinic hours 7:30A-5:00P 5/8 hour shifts 5 ORs and 4 GI procedure rooms Management/supervisor experience preferred No call, holidays or weekends Comprehensive benefits Overview Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Responsible for providing leadership to pre-operative, intra-operative, post-operative and in-patient areas to assure the delivery of excellent patient care, achieve business results, manage change and improve performance of personnel and operations. Responsible for the overall operations in the areas of CSPD, supply management, equipment acquisition/maintenance for the CAM or Orthopedic Center. Responsibilities Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership. Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals. Researches, evaluates, selects and implements systems which improve efficiency of work unit operations. Directs operations and integrates services within the work unit and with other departments. Utilizes customer satisfaction data to identify and set goals for work group and expectations for employees. Participates in performance improvement efforts, tasks forces, committees and system performance teams. Documents required information according to mandated style, format and or policy. Evaluates and maintains records for completeness and accuracy.
