Nurse Practitioner Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, perform assessments, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals. This role is essential in delivering comprehensive healthcare services to patients across various settings, including clinics and telehealth platforms. Duties Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments of patients. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, providing appropriate management plans. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including sonography and vital signs monitoring. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols. Provide education to patients on family planning, pediatrics, and preventive health measures. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care quality. Utilize telehealth technology to reach patients remotely when necessary. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Stay current with advancements in internal medicine practices and relevant medical knowledge. Requirements Master's degree in Nursing or a related field from an accredited program. Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice. Strong knowledge of anatomy, internal medicine principles, and infection control practices. Experience or training in pediatrics, family planning, ophthalmology, or dialysis is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in performing vital sign assessments and interpreting results. Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education. Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment.
