To qualify for this role, please create a profile on axamedical.com Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and diagnostic evaluation. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with best practices and patient needs, including medication administration and procedural interventions such as suturing or IV infusion. Manage acute and chronic conditions across various specialties such as emergency medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, behavioral health, and internal medicine. Perform specialized procedures including dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatments, spinal taps, catheterizations, and wound suturing while adhering to sterile techniques. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation and coding (ICD-10/ICD-9/CPT). Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in settings like hospitals (Level I & II trauma centers), outpatient clinics, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or telehealth platforms to coordinate patient care. Engage in patient education and health coaching to promote wellness initiatives and disease prevention strategies. Extensive experience with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth for documentation and order entry. Proficiency in performing advanced procedures such as ultrasound sonography, gastroscopic evaluations, or cardiac catheterization. Strong knowledge of pharmacology for medication management and injection administration across various specialties. Critical care experience in ICU or emergency room settings with familiarity in airway management and ventilator support. Skilled in working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities or memory care needs. Expertise in managing complex cases involving infectious disease care, hospice & palliative medicine, occupational health, or Workers' compensation law compliance. Ability to perform triage assessments in urgent care or outpatient environments while maintaining HIPAA compliance and infection control standards.
