None Position Overview:
Henry Ford Health in Macomb, MI is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Interventional Radiology team. This role provides an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a dynamic, collaborative environment. The NP/PA will work closely with physicians and support staff to manage pre- and post-procedure patient care, assist with interventional procedures, and contribute to treatment planning and follow-up. Ideal candidates are motivated healthcare professionals who have excellent clinical judgment and are committed to improving patient outcomes while supporting a multidisciplinary team. Qualifications:
NP or PA graduate from an accredited program Current (or in-process) Michigan licensure National certification (ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA) BLS required; ACLS required (or obtained after hire) 1 Year of IR Experience as an
APP Preferred Credentials:
Education & Training
  • Physician Assistant (PA): Completion of a Physician Assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA)
  • Nurse Practitioner (NP): Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) Licensure
  • Current licensure as a Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner in the State of Michigan, or in the process of applying (proof of application required). Certification
PA:
Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
    NP:
    National certification by a certification body recognized by the State of Michigan (e.g., ANCC, AANP) Required Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) - required Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - required (may be obtained after hire) DEA /
    Controlled Substance Licensure PA:
    DEA and Michigan Controlled Substance License (CSL) required through credentialing
    NP:
    DEA registration required through credentialing; NPs do not hold a Michigan CSL and will use their Michigan license number during the application process
