As a Midlevel, you will play a vital role in coordinating healthcare for our primary care, perioperative, and/or specialty patients.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status, including medical history, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests. Develop and implement individualized care plans Prescribe and manage medications and therapies within the scope of practice Provide patient education regarding preventive care, treatment options, and management of chronic conditions. Monitor and evaluate patients' progress, adjusting care plans as needed. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care, facilitate referrals, and ensure seamless transitions Participate in quality improvement initiatives.Required Skills/Abilities:

Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing with specialization as a Nurse Practitioner. Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the relevant specialty area (e.g., Family, Adult-Gerontology, etc.). Holds an active DEA and Texas State License. Demonstrated clinical competence and expertise Proficiency in conducting physical examinations, diagnosing illnesses, and developing treatment plans. Strong knowledge of pharmacology and the ability to prescribe medications appropriately. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and proficient documentation skills. Ability to work autonomously, demonstrating critical thinking and decision-making skills. Commitment to professional development and maintenance of certification. Compliance with all regulatory requirements, including continuing education and licensure renewal.Benefits and Perks:
Full-time, Salaried Position:
Bonuses given based on practitioner's performance, as evaluated by the generation of work relative value units (wRVU). Medical liability insurance, contracting with commercial insurances, and contracting with facilities covered, 100%. 2 days of CME off per year, $750/year towards CME course and travel. Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k (3% of annual salary), and 10 days of paid time off. 2 lab coats per year provided.
