Job Description:

Seitz Dermatology, a reputable and patient-centered dermatology practice is seeking a skilled and dedicated Dermatology Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team. Our practice is committed to delivering high-quality dermatological care to patients of all ages in the Cheyenne & Wellington community. As a Dermatology NP at Seitz Dermatology, you will work closely with our experienced dermatologists and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including detailed medical histories and comprehensive skin examinations, to assess dermatological conditions. Collaborate with dermatologists to develop personalized treatment plans for patients, including prescribing medications, recommending skincare regimens, and performing minor surgical procedures. Perform various dermatological procedures, such as biopsies, excisions, and cryotherapy with precision and care. Provide patient education on skin conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures, promoting healthy skincare practices. Document patient encounters, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions accurately and efficiently in electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Collaborate with the dermatology team, including nurses and support staff, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and research in dermatology through continuous education and participation in professional development activities. Adhere to legal and ethical guidelines, maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy at all times. Contribute to the smooth operation of the practice by assisting with administrative tasks and maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment. Travel is required to both our Cheyenne and Wellington clinics.

Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program and a valid state license to practice as a NP. Specialization or experience in dermatology is preferred, but candidates with a strong interest in dermatology and a willingness to learn will also be considered. Excellent clinical skills, with the ability to diagnose and treat a wide range of dermatological conditions. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Detail-oriented approach, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to protocols and guidelines. Ability to work independently, demonstrate sound judgment, and make critical decisions in fast-paced and challenging situations. $8,000.00 - $12,000.00 per month
