What You'll Do As part of our production team, you'll play a key role in cultivating and maintaining high-quality ornamental plants.

Your day may include:

Planting, pruning, spacing, and watering a variety of nursery stock Assisting with loading/unloading and moving plant material Operating equipment such as tractors (manual transmission) and other tools Supporting irrigation, fertilization, and pest management processes Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment Working as part of a team to meet production goals No two days are the same—this is active, hands-on work that keeps you moving and learning. Requirements:

Basic Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout the day Comfortable standing, walking, bending, climbing ladders (up to 10 ft) Willingness to learn equipment operation (including tractors) Flexibility for overtime, weekends, and seasonal demands Authorized to work in the U.S. Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and post-offer physical Work Environment This is a fully outdoor, physically active role. You'll work in: Heat, humidity, cold, rain, and seasonal conditions Environments requiring PPE when working with horticultural products Situations requiring attention to detail (plant quality, safety, organization) Why Join Johnson Nursery?
