POSITION INFORMATION

Position Summary:

Nursery worker/attendant during Sunday morning worship (8:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.) and other special services (Summer Worship, Easter and Christmas Eve) Must possess a love for the Lord, and for young children - infants through four years of age. Must be prompt, dependable, responsible, and trustworthy. Must have previous experience with children and current first aid/CPR certification (or ability to secure this soon after hiring). Tasks to be

Performed:

Greet parents and listen to special care instructions (be sure parents register each child); follow the Child Protection Policy adopted by Holt UMC; teach children with the age-appropriate materials provided; keep toys and equipment clean and safe; leave nursery clean and orderly. During regularly scheduled hours, if there are no children, you then have an opportunity to clean or do other things to help the Christian Education Team. (ie: photocopy additional sign-in sheets. Nursery Worker/Attendants will report to the person who gives oversight to the nursery care (Michelle Stroup).

Requirement:

Must be willing to be screened by the Michigan State Police in accordance with church policy. Must have previous experience with children and current first aid/CPR certification (or ability to secure this soon after hiring). Application Please send or fax a current resume to

COMPENSATION INFORMATION

Salary:

$62.50 per Sunday ( $25 per service and $12.50 for praise choir practice)
