Nursing Assistant (Afternoons or Nights )

The starting Wage for this Nursing Assistant position is 19.25 These Shifts will be from 3pm to 11:30pm or 10pm to 6:30am You will receive a 1.50 shift differential for working this afternoon shift or nights You will receive a 1.50 shift differential when working weekends Vacation for Experience Promotion - Depending on your years of experience we may offer you 1-2 weeks of Vacation front loaded upon hire. •Eligible employees can also earn an additional $1.50/hour if waiving the insurance benefit•( Employee must work at least 28.00 hours per week) Dayforce wallet is an option for staff who need to be paid weekly or more frequently. Position Summary The Nursing Assistant assists the licensed nursing staff by providing direct resident care related to Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs).

Nursing Assistant Qualifications:

Caring, compassionate, and understanding Have a high school diploma, GED diploma or active registry status on the Pennsylvania nurse aide registry 18 years of age or older Free from a medical condition, including drug or alcohol addiction that would limit the staff person from providing necessary personal care services with reasonable skill and safety Excellent customer service and hospitality skills Essential Duties and Responsibilities Nursing Assistants help with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) consistent with resident support plan by assisting residents with eating and drinking, ambulating, transferring, toileting, bladder and bowel management, personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, turning and positioning, and documenting the care that was provided. Nursing Assistants help with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) consistent with resident support plan by assisting residents with doing laundry, using a telephone, caring for personal possessions, changing linens, obtaining and keeping clean, seasonal clothing, using a prosthetic device, keeping a safe, neat, clean room, and transporting to activities.
