Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Nursing Clinical Educator to enhance the clinical skills and professional development of nursing staff. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in patient care, clinical teaching, and healthcare operations, with a strong emphasis on fostering learning environments that promote excellence in nursing practice. As a Clinical Educator, you will design and deliver comprehensive training programs, support ongoing education initiatives, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards to improve patient outcomes and staff competence. Responsibilities Develop and implement evidence-based clinical education programs tailored to diverse nursing roles and healthcare environments. Conduct hands-on training sessions for staff nurses to enhance clinical proficiency. Evaluate clinical competencies through assessments, observations, and performance reviews to identify learning needs. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate best practices in patient care. Maintain accurate documentation of training activities, certifications, and compliance records. Stay current with healthcare regulations, medical advancements, and educational methodologies to continuously improve program quality. Facilitate a positive learning environment that encourages professional growth, critical thinking, and adherence to patient care standards. Provide mentorship and support for nurses and staff members to provide career growth and leadership skills.
Skills and Requirements:
Massachusetts RN license in good standing. Extensive experience in a long term care and skilled rehabilitation setting. Proven background in nursing home care, with a strong foundation in patient-centered care. Expertise in medical documentation, medical terminology, anatomy, physiology knowledge, and HIPAA compliance. Strong teaching skills with experience in adult education and training & development initiatives. Excellent communication abilities for effective instruction and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. Ability to assess clinical skills accurately and tailor educational strategies accordingly. Familiarity with electronic medical records systems and medical records management practices. If you have proven leadership qualities with the capacity to motivate staff towards continuous improvement and professional excellence.
