As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality meals for our residents. $17.50 an hour with weekly pay. Hours available are either 6a-2p or 11a-7p.

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare, cook, and plate resident meals in accordance with therapeutic diets ordered by physicians Ensure the proper serving temperature of food and maintain its visual appeal Monitor daily nourishments, follow standardized recipes, and adhere to sanitation and storage policies Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with residents, families, and colleagues Perform other duties as assigned by the

Director of Dining Services Requirements:

Prior culinary experience required Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Ability to make independent decisions and work harmoniously with personnel, residents, and families Knowledge of dining service procedures and related laws, regulations, and guidelines Leadership ability, willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise professional and non-professional personnel Patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm when interacting with residents and colleagues Ability to maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, and the appearance of work areas
