Substitute Nurses -

Medina County School Districts Position Overview:

RN and LPN Substitute Nurses provide health services that support the educational mission and goals of the school district and the Educational Service Center of Medina County. These services help facilitate the educational process by identifying, modifying, or removing health-related barriers to learning. Substitute nurses promote healthy practices within the school community and ensure compliance with local and state health regulations.

Qualifications:

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) through the Ohio Board of Nursing Ohio Educational Aide Permit or School Nurse License through the Ohio Department of Education, or willingness to obtain Self-directed with the ability to quickly learn and apply required skills Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with children preferred Current CPR/AED certification Valid Ohio driver's license Willingness to travel within the district as needed Additional Information /
