Job Description

EDUCATION INTERN
Education Intern Orange County Land Trust This internship will be project-based, centered on developing four distinct, age-appropriate (ages 6-9) lesson plans. Curriculum development: Research, design and write four comprehensive, original and experiential lesson plans. Experiential learning design: Ensure each lesson plan incorporates hands-on, nature-based activities. Volunteer usability: Write the lessons to be clear, structured and easily executable by a volunteer leader. Site visits: Conduct at least one introductory site visit to each of the four preserves to inform the lesson plan content and logistics. Pilot testing/review: Present drafts of the lesson plans for review and feedback and potentially lead a small pilot session of one lesson (if feasible).
