Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active California Occupational Therapist (OT) license required Previous experience in school-based OT services strongly preferred Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and best practices Ability to support IEP goals and collaborate with teachers, families, and educational teams Strong communication and organizational skills Comfortable working independently in a virtual or onsite setting
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to K-12 students following established IEP goals Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to enhance students' educational experience Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to facilitate student progress Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required by school and district policies Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on student needs and therapy recommendations Adapt intervention strategies to accommodate both virtual and in-person settings as necessary
