Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive school environment as a dedicated Occupational Therapist. This contract role offers you the chance to serve a diverse student population and work closely with another skilled OT, ensuring you have the collaboration and resources you need.
Key Requirements:
Valid Occupational Therapist license in Idaho and credentials for school-based practice Prior experience or strong interest in working with students in K-12 settings Familiarity with IEP processes and best practices for supporting students with varying abilities Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills Reliability, adaptability, and a genuine passion for aiding student growth Willingness to relocate for the duration of the contract and provide onsite services
Your Responsibilities:
Manage an assigned caseload drawn from a district of roughly 400-500 students with IEPs, teaming up with another OT Deliver assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct therapy tailored to student needs Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure students achieve their IEP goals Maintain thorough documentation and stay compliant with district and federal regulations Rotate between multiple nearby school sites (all within close proximity to each other) Offer consistent onsite support during the school year, ensuring you're a visible, engaged resource for students and staff This full-time opportunity spans the school year from mid-August 2026 through late May 2027, with standard hours of 37.5 per week.
