Job Description
Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by supporting students' growth and independence throughout a vibrant K-12 district near Keene, NH. This contract opportunity allows you to deliver school-based occupational therapy services across multiple campuses, ensuring every child has access to essential skills that help them thrive academically and socially. With needs spanning the full district, you'll collaborate with staff and families to facilitate student success. As the district occupational therapist, you'll be trusted with a broad caseload. You'll travel to different sites, adapting your approach for students from kindergarten through high school. Whether developing individualized treatment plans, consulting with teachers, or attending IEP meetings, your expertise will foster positive outcomes for students of all abilities. What we're seeking: Current OT license in New Hampshire (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience in school-based settings or with pediatric populations preferred Understanding of
IDEA, IEP
processes, and evidence-based practices for pediatric OT Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams Flexibility to adapt to multiple school sites and varying student needs Key responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy evaluations and direct interventions across K-12 district locations Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to each student Collaborate with teachers, parents, and ancillary staff to support learning and participation Document all services and maintain accurate records per district and legal requirements Participate in IEP meetings and student progress reviews This role will cover the remainder of the current school year plus the entire 26/27 school year—ensuring continuity of care and strong student relationships.
