Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into an impactful opportunity serving young learners as a part-time occupational therapy provider. This contract position is ideal for an OT or COTA passionate about making a difference through early intervention with children ages 3-4. You'll contribute your expertise as a valued member of a talented interdisciplinary team, with consistent, manageable hours and the chance to work hands-on in a school setting. What you'll bring: Active Louisiana OT or COTA license (required) Experience in early childhood therapy or a school-based environment preferred Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with families, teachers, and other professionals Reliability and adaptability working across different school sites A caring, patient approach tailored to each child's unique needs Your key responsibilities: Provide direct occupational therapy support for preschool-aged students (3-4 years old) in accordance with IEP goals and early intervention best practices Develop and implement treatment plans to promote motor, sensory, and daily living skill development Work alongside an Early Interventionist Team, coordinating care plans and documenting progress Serve part-time, approximately 4 hours each day, 4 days a week—2 days at a northern location and 2 days at a southern site Ensure compliance with all state and district guidelines If you are a COTA, supervision will be provided to support your work Enjoy the unique flexibility of a part-time schedule over the academic year, providing you the balance to thrive personally and professionally.
