Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact supporting young learners as a contract Occupational Therapist serving children ages 3-4 in a school-based early intervention program. This engaging, part-time role offers the flexibility of working approximately 4 hours per day, 4 days a week during the 2026-2027 school year. You'll collaborate as part of the Early Interventionist Team, splitting your time across two school locations for comprehensive student support.
Key Qualifications:
Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in Louisiana is required Experience providing occupational therapy services in a school, early intervention, or pediatric setting preferred Strong communication skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to diverse needs of preschool-aged children
Responsibilities:
Deliver onsite occupational therapy services to students ages 3-4, both individually and in groups, based on IEP goals Collaborate closely with educators, speech pathologists, and other specialists within the Early Interventionist Team Travel between two designated locations (north and south regions) as scheduled Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and treatment plans Provide support and resources to families and staff to promote generalization of skills Perks of this
