Job Description
Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a real difference in the lives of students as an Occupational Therapist working in a dynamic K-12 school environment on a contract basis. Leverage your expertise to help students overcome obstacles and achieve their educational goals within a supportive, multidisciplinary team.
Key Qualifications:
Current California Occupational Therapist license required Prior experience in school settings or working with pediatric populations Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families Ability to adapt interventions to meet a diverse range of student needsResponsibilities:
Assess, plan, and implement occupational therapy interventions for students with varying abilities Participate in the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Maintain thorough and organized documentation of student progress and therapy sessions Collaborate regularly with teachers, administrators, and other service providers to support student success Provide consultation and training to school personnel on strategies for supporting students' motor and sensory development Communicate progress and recommendations to families, fostering a team approach to student growth This opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a supportive educational setting.
