Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students while working as a contract Occupational Therapist supporting K-12 learners. Two full-time positions are available beginning August 17, 2026, through June 11, 2027 (dates tentative). You'll work on-site 35 hours per week, collaborating with educators and families to help students achieve their fullest potential. Qualifications & Experience Valid and active Michigan OT license required (please submit a screenshot when applying) Previous experience as an Occupational Therapist in a school setting is essential Expertise supporting K-12 students, tailoring interventions for a diverse range of needs Strong communication and collaborative skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families Ability to independently manage a caseload in a fast-paced school environment Role Responsibilities Provide direct assessment, intervention, and consultation services for K-12 students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in line with educational goals Maintain thorough documentation, progress notes, and IEP reports Partner with teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians to support student access to the curriculum Engage in school meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Monitor and adjust interventions throughout the school year for best outcomes Perks of This Opportunity Impact the lives of students across a supportive educational community Gain experience in a dynamic school environment with an established calendar Opportunity to grow your clinical skills in diverse settings and age groups Shape the future for students while advancing your expertise as a school-based Occupational Therapist! and take the next step in your career supporting youth in an engaging contract role.
