Occupational Therapist School Setting in Whiteland, IN

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time occupational therapist position is available in Whiteland, IN, supporting a preschool caseload at a school setting. This contract role offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 8:45 AM to 4:15 PM, providing services as an essential member of the educational team.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate and treat preschool-aged students requiring occupational therapy services. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support students' developmental and functional needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote student success. Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines. Participate in team meetings and contribute to intervention strategies.

Qualifications:

Licensed Occupational Therapist with credentials valid for school-based services. Experience providing occupational therapy in a school setting, preferably with preschool-aged children. Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 60 students with diverse needs. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge of state regulations and educational best practices related to occupational therapy services.
