Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling opportunity serving students in PreK through 8th grade as an Occupational Therapist in a vibrant school setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract role offers the chance to make a lasting difference by supporting the developmental and educational needs of young learners for 37.5 hours each week. Ideal candidates will have experience in various occupational therapy environments—including schools, home health, and healthcare settings—ready to collaborate with educators and families to maximize student success.
Qualifications:
Active Occupational Therapist license required Experience providing OT services in school, home health, or healthcare settings Previous work with PreK-8th grade students preferred Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive classroom participation
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative OT services to PreK-8th grade students Evaluate students' needs and develop individualized intervention plans Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure holistic support Document progress and maintain clear records in accordance with school guidelines Support student participation and independence in daily school activities Contribute expertise during IEP meetings and help develop appropriate goals You'll work in a well-supported environment that values your input and equips you to create a positive impact in students' academic journeys.
