Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Discover a rewarding opportunity supporting students in an educational environment as a full-time Occupational Therapist. This contract position offers an engaging role for a professional enthusiastic about making a positive impact. The assignment spans the academic year, with a 37.5-hour weekly schedule. While onsite presence is preferred, experience in teletherapy and home health is valued.
Preferred Qualifications:
Current Occupational Therapy licensure in California At least one year of experience in a school-based OT setting Skills in OT for home health, healthcare, and teletherapy are strongly valued Familiarity with individualized education program (IEP) processes Strong communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students according to IEP goals Conduct thorough evaluations and develop tailored therapy plans Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to maximize student outcomes Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of therapy sessions, progress, and interventions Contribute to multidisciplinary IEP meetings and offer clinical insights for program development Advocate for student needs and participate in ongoing professional growth
