Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a positive impact each day by supporting students' growth as an Occupational Therapist in a dynamic school environment near Edgewood, NM. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available to match your career goals and scheduling needs. Work with elementary and high school students, helping them build essential skills for academic and personal success.
Your Role:
Provide direct occupational therapy services to elementary and high school students Conduct thorough assessments to develop individualized student treatment plans Attend and participate actively in IEP meetings, offering professional insights Collaborate closely with teachers, fellow therapists, school administrators, and parents to deliver comprehensive, student-centered support Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress Adapt interventions thoughtfully to fit the unique needs of each student
Qualifications:
Hold a valid New Mexico Occupational Therapist license Possess New Mexico PED certification as an Occupational Therapist Experience working with school-aged children, ideally in a school or educational setting Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and multidisciplinary team members This contract position is an excellent opportunity to expand your experience while contributing your expertise to a supportive educational community.
