Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Advance your career while making a difference in young lives by supporting students as a contract Occupational Therapist for the 2024-2025 school year in the Little Falls, MN area. With a caseload spanning kindergarten through 12th grade, you'll play a key role in helping students overcome barriers so they can succeed in school and beyond. Bring your expertise in assessing and treating students with a variety of physical, cognitive, and sensory challenges. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to develop meaningful, individualized therapy plans. As an integral support for both students and staff, you'll deliver therapy services, participate in evaluations, keep detailed documentation, and offer guidance for classroom strategies to support inclusion and achievement.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy Current Occupational Therapist license State licensure/certification required Prior experience in a school setting
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students and develop individualized intervention plans Conduct therapy sessions and track student progress Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents Educate and train school staff to better support students with disabilities Document all therapy activities and outcomes in accordance with school policies Enjoy competitive hourly pay starting at $35 per hour, which increases according to experience, along with medical benefits and the reliability of weekly direct deposit.
