Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make an impact supporting young learners through your expertise in occupational therapy! A contract opportunity is available for a qualified professional with experience working in educational settings. If you're skilled in delivering occupational therapy services tailored for schools and are comfortable serving students throughout the school year, you could thrive in this rewarding position.
Key Qualifications:
Valid occupational therapy licensure Proven background in delivering OT services in school environments Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) Effective collaboration skills, working alongside educators and other support staff Strong communication for reporting, documentation, and parent interaction Adaptability to different student needs and age ranges
Daily Responsibilities:
Assess students' functional abilities and develop treatment plans to support their educational goals Implement therapeutic interventions—both individual and small group—in accordance with IEPs Monitor progress, maintaining comprehensive records and documentation Consult with teachers and parents, offering strategies and adapting learning environments as needed Participate in meetings and work collaboratively to ensure students receive consistent and effective support This role supports students for the upcoming school year (NSY), providing occupational therapy that truly makes a difference.
