Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity to positively impact students' lives as an Occupational Therapist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This contract position is ideal for professionals who thrive in school-based settings, bringing their expertise to help students achieve greater independence and success both inside and outside the classroom.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapy licensure Experience supporting pediatric populations, preferably in school environments Strong communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families Keen ability to assess and develop appropriate intervention plans for a range of student needs Commitment to staying current with best practices and required documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy services and functional assessments for students as outlined in IEPs Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention strategies Consult with educators, families, and staff to support student goals and classroom participation Keep thorough and timely records of therapy provided and progress made Collaborate with other school therapists, including communicating with the previous year's OT (MJ's OT), to ensure continuity of care Participate in student support meetings and contribute to IEP development
