Job Description
Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Empower students to achieve their fullest potential by providing essential occupational therapy services across multiple school sites in the thriving Jacksonville area. This school-based, full-time contract role offers a stimulating and supportive environment ideal for professionals passionate about making a daily impact on young learners' lives. As an Occupational Therapist in this dynamic setting, you'll play a vital part in fostering independence and skill development for students. Expect a collaborative, itinerant role, supporting schools on the North and West side of Jacksonville, ensuring a diverse experience and plenty of professional growth.
Key Qualifications:
Current active FL DOH Occupational Therapist license School-based OT experience preferred, with willingness to support K-12 students; caseload details to be confirmed Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills to work across multiple schools Ability to navigate time-sensitive credentialing, including fingerprint clearance in the AHCA Clearinghouse and JLA badge application Readiness to start August 10th, 2026, through May 28th, 2027, with interviews actively occurring on May 14th & 15th, 2026 Flexibility and adaptability for an itinerant, multi-site caseloadPrimary Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality OT assessments and interventions to help students access their educational curriculum Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Document student progress and related services per school and state standards Develop tailored therapy plans to address individual student needs Travel between assigned school sites within a specified region This is an excellent chance to bring your expertise to a collaborative educational setting committed to student success and professional development.
