Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Bring your expertise as an Occupational Therapist to an engaging contract opportunity supporting students in both school and virtual environments near Lowell, MA. This role is ideal for a dynamic clinician interested in combining traditional school-based therapy with the flexibility of teletherapy and potential home health visits. You'll contribute to personalized care plans, collaborate with educators and families, and help students achieve developmental and academic milestones.
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
Current license to practice Occupational Therapy Experience in school-based OT settings Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery Background in home health or community OT is a plus Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and educational goals
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and establish individualized treatment plans to support student learning and functional outcomes Deliver OT services in-person at school sites and through teletherapy, ensuring accessibility and continuity of care Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and family members to support student progress and implement strategies across environments Maintain accurate documentation for sessions, evaluations, and progress reports Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional input for student support teams Offer training and resources to staff and caregivers to foster skills development at home and school Imagine working in a flexible, supportive setting where you can make a difference in students' daily lives.
