Occupational Therapist (SY 2026-27) (OOJ - 45529) 55-65 / US Dollars / Hourly NPAworldwide Recruitment Network update Last updated: May/12/2026 Job Description Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in individual and small-group settings. Develop functional living skill goals aligned with student needs and educational plans. Conduct screenings, observations, and assessments to identify areas requiring intervention. Plan, implement, and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing evaluation and data. Monitor and document student progress to determine effectiveness of services. Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in compliance with legal and school requirements. Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and administrators regarding student progress. Collaborate with instructional staff and administration to support coordinated student services. Adhere to New York State regulations, school policies, and professional standards.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy. Valid New York State Occupational Therapist license and registration. Minimum of one year of occupational therapy experience (school-based preferred). Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as required.
