Job Description
Core Responsibilities:
Ability to work varying hours. Ability to stand for periods of time. Analyze parameters of the machine to ensure quality specifications are met, adjusting as needed. Participating in the Food Safety Program. Ability to lift or move up to 10 pounds frequently, and 25-50 pounds occasionally.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Ability to travel locally. Must be organized, able to work independently and collaboratively. Ability to recognize product variations. Ability to sort items moving on a continuous conveyor system.Work Schedule:
The Odenberg Operator's work schedule is highly dependent on the time of year and customer demand. Employees can work 5 to 6 days per week, depending on our product load-out schedule. Typically, employees will average from 27 to 40 hours per week in this position.Physical Requirements:
Requires the ability to work on-site and in multiple locations and settings. Requires the ability to clearly understand basic verbal communication from others. Requires the ability to stand long hours, picking out defected potatoes from moving conveyors. Odenberg Operator The Odenberg Operator will be responsible for working at the Odenberg machine, ensuring that potatoes are graded to various standards and sorted. These duties include adjusting the parameters of the machine to minimize waste. This role will also be responsible for the cleaning of the machine to Food Safety Standards.Core Responsibilities:
