Office Assistant

Position Overview Schrag Brothers Freight is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to support daily office and logistics operations. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone looking to build a career in the transportation industry. The right candidate will play a key role in keeping communication, scheduling, and documentation organized and running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Perform general office duties including filing, scanning, and document management Serve as a point of contact between drivers and upper management Maintain and update calendars, schedules, and dispatch information Assist with managing and updating the Transportation Management System (TMS) Support communication with drivers regarding schedules, paperwork, and updates Ensure accuracy and organization of company records and files Assist with additional administrative and operational tasks as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated Preferred (Not Required) Experience in trucking, logistics, or transportation industry Familiarity with dispatch systems or TMS platforms What We Offer Consistent full-time schedule (Monday-Friday, 8-5) On-the-job training and support Family-owned, team-oriented work environment Opportunities for growth and advancement within the company Why Join Us?
