The Counseling Services office is seeking a dependable and student-focused Office Assistant to support front desk operations and administrative functions. This role serves as a key point of contact for students and plays an important part in creating a welcoming, supportive campus environment. This position will support the department through a variety of tasks. Greet students, faculty, and visitors, providing a friendly and professional first point of contact Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and schedule counseling appointments Manage office calendars and assist with email communications Direct students to appropriate campus resources and support services Maintain accurate records and assist with data collection and reporting Support outreach efforts, events, and special projects as needed Perform general administrative and clerical tasks to ensure smooth office operations To best serve the students, department, and college, this position requires a physical presence on campus. Desired Qualifications Demonstrated commitment to student service and support Strong computer skills, including familiarity with common office and campus systems Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced campus environment Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, especially when handling sensitive student information
