This position involves a variety of administrative, clerical, customer service, and basic accounting responsibilities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be organized, professional, able to multitask efficiently, and capable of working independently while maintaining accuracy and excellent customer service. Responsibilities Maintain files and records to ensure they remain accurate, organized, and easily accessible Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers professionally Take customer orders over the phone Perform accurate data entry Follow up on customer orders and manage the order process to ensure timely fulfillment Prepare shipping and delivery documents Coordinate with production, sales, warehouse, shipping, and common carriers to help ensure delivery schedules are met Communicate with customers regarding order updates and document requests Assist in creating reports and supporting interdepartmental communication Support the accounting department with basic bookkeeping tasks and administrative reports Assist with general office duties as assigned Requirements Familiarity with office procedures and basic accounting principles Accurate math, data entry, and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Access Strong attention to detail and ability to identify mistakes Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Professional attitude and strong customer service skills Manufacturing or customer service experience is a plus Preferred Qualities Detail-oriented and highly organized Dependable and punctual Able to work in a fast-paced environment Strong follow-up and problem-solving skills
