Office Coordinator - General Surgeons Clinic - Days - FT

Job Summary:

Responsible for coordinating and performing the daily operations of physician clinic office functions. Provides coordination amongst interdisciplinary staff and provides linkage between the physician clinics and Hospital system. Evaluates work methods, processes and customer service for maximum efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

High School Diplomas or equivalent.

Licensure:

None.

Experience:

Two (2) years of clerical experience; or 2 years of college credits (minimum of 48 hours) may be substituted for required experience.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

Excellent written and communication skills. Proficient computer skills. Knowledge of general office procedures and uses of office equipment. Ability to multitask and manage high-volume workloads. Ability to interpret federal and state guidelines.

Associate' s degree.

Licensure:

N/A Experience:

Two (2) years of experience in a business office, registration, or billing in a hospital or clinic setting.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

Knowledge of medical terminology. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of billing various payor types.
