Office Coordinator - Wound Care Clinic (Full-Time, Mon-Fri) Washington Regional Med. Position Summary The role of the Coordinator reports to the Clinic Manager. This position is responsible for supervision of the front office. Essential Position Responsibilities Engage with customers, patients, guests, and coworkers in a positive and professional manner Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, clinic staff, and providers Perform office and administrative duties in an effective and efficient manner Schedule appointments Register patients Collect co-payments and deductibles Verify insurance eligibility Scan documents into the electronic medical record system Provide information to interdisciplinary providers, as appropriate
Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or GED Licensure and Certifications:
N/A Experience:
Two years of previous medical office experience, required. Familiarity with medical terminology as well as various medical insurance carriers, required.Work Environment :
