Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Office Furniture Installer and play a vital role in transforming workspaces into functional, stylish environments. This energetic position involves installing, assembling, and adjusting a variety of office furniture pieces with precision and care. As an integral part of our installation crew, you'll ensure that each project is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Your expertise will help create inspiring work environments that boost productivity and employee satisfaction. Must have a driver's license and be able to pass a drug test. Duties Carefully unpack, assemble, and install office furniture including desks, chairs, cubicles, shelving units, and conference tables according to specifications. Use hand tools and power tools skillfully to secure furniture components in place. Conduct thorough inspections during installation to ensure stability, safety, and proper alignment of all furnishings. Read and interpret installation diagrams, blueprints, and technical instructions accurately. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters to test electrical components or wiring when necessary for integrated furniture solutions. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of packaging materials responsibly. Experience Prior experience in furniture installation or carpentry is highly preferred; however, motivated newcomers with a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with using hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters is advantageous. Ability to read technical drawings and installation instructions clearly. Physical stamina to lift heavy furniture pieces repeatedly and perform tasks requiring standing, bending, or climbing ladders for extended periods. Strong attention to detail to ensure all installations are secure and visually aligned. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaborative projects.
