Office Lead / Director (Mechanical Construction)📍 Westford, MAOverviewAn established, mid-sized mechanical contractor is seeking a senior leader to take ownership of its Westford, MA office. This individual will play a critical role in driving operational performance, leading project teams, and supporting continued growth across HVAC and plumbing construction projects.

This is a high-impact position suited for someone who combines strong project delivery experience with leadership, client engagement, and business oversight capabilities.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day operations of the Westford office, overseeing project execution and team performanceManage a portfolio of large-scale mechanical construction projects (HVAC, piping, plumbing) from preconstruction through closeoutProvide leadership and mentorship to Project Managers, Engineers, and field teamsOversee scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial performance of projects and the officeSupport preconstruction efforts, including estimating review, value engineering, and project planningBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, GCs, and subcontractorsDrive business growth through client development, repeat work, and strategic pursuitsEnsure adherence to safety standards, quality control, and company best practicesCollaborate with executive leadership on regional strategy, hiring, and operational improvementsQualifications10-15+ years of experience in mechanical construction (HVAC/plumbing preferred)Proven track record managing complex commercial/industrial projectsPrior experience in a leadership capacity (Senior PM, PM Lead, Operations Manager, or Director-level)Strong understanding of project financials, cost control, and forecastingAbility to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and drive resultsExperience working with local New England clients and contractors is preferredBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)What They're Looking ForA hands-on leader who can balance project execution with office oversightSomeone capable of stepping into a "number one" role locally while aligning with broader company leadershipA professional with strong commercial awareness and the ability to contribute to growth strategyLong-term mindset with interest in helping scale and shape an officeCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary (commensurate with experience)Performance-based bonus structureComprehensive benefits package (health, 401k, PTO, etc.)Clear pathway for long-term leadership and influence within the organization
