Farm Office Manager Lone Maple Agricultural Services /
Lone Maple Farms Location:
New Alexandria, PA Type:
Full-Time / Part-Time (Flexible)
Compensation:
$15-$20/hr (Dependent on experience) About Lone Maple With a legacy dating back to 1914, Lone Maple is a cornerstone of the Westmoreland County agricultural community. Today, we bridge tradition with innovation. Between our 1,200-acre family farm and our specialized Ag Services division, we provide local growers with precision planting, custom applications, and cutting-edge GPS technology. We are looking for a versatile Office Manager to be the central hub of our operation—ensuring our "front office" is as efficient and high-tech as our field operations.
Key Responsibilities Financial Management:
Manage accounts payable/receivable and payroll using QuickBooks and Excel .
Precision Invoicing:
Generate accurate billing for custom applications (planting, spraying, and product sales) by reconciling field data with inventory.
Regulatory Compliance:
Maintain rigorous records for seed, fertilizer, and chemical applications. Manage CDL driver files , DOT drug testing records, and equipment compliance.
USDA Reporting:
Lead yearly crop reporting and maintain communication with the
FSA/NRCS.
Inventory Oversight:
Track commodity inventory and chemical stocks to ensure "real-time" accuracy during peak seasons.
Marketing & Sales:
Maintain our social media presence to showcase our services and engage with the local farming community.
Qualifications Experience:
1+ year in an office management or bookkeeping role (Mid-level).
Ag Knowledge:
A background in agriculture is highly preferred but not required
Tech Savvy:
Proficient in QuickBooks and excel is a must. Familiarity with (or ability to quickly learn) John Deere Operations Center.
Reliability:
High attention to detail—precision in the office is just as important as precision in the field.

This role follows the rhythm of the farm. Candidates should expect increased activity and potential overtime during Planting (Spring) and Harvest (Fall) , with a more flexible/relaxed schedule during the winter months.
