Job Description

Our organization is seeking a self-motivated Insurance Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate has a background in insurance, financial services, or customer service and has experience working in a customer service oriented environment. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong computer skills. The successful Insurance Agent will work with an energetic and devoted team that values its customers' needs and ensures that each customer is treated to the highest possible level of service.
Responsibilities:
Provide customers with an understanding of all insurance options. Help customers to plan for, and manage, financial risks. Know all about the state's insurance laws, as well as the industry's rules and regulations. Write insurance policies and contracts. Assist in handling claims. Handle new business and renewal orders from customers. Need sales ability to develop new business. Need computer skills to enter and retrieve information from the computer. Work in an office during normal business hours. Manage the office's daily tasks. Manage the files and paperwork for the office and other agents. Hire and recruit other insurance agents.

$36,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
