Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Office/Clinical Assistant, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth clinical operations. This paid position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting clinical professionals across our outpatient clinics. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a welcoming experience for patients while maintaining efficient clinic workflows.
Duties:
Assist with patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and verifying insurance information Manage patient statements Support clinical staff with assisting with client calls, scheduling and support Assist clinicians with maintaining accurate documentation within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, including ICD coding and patient notes Assist with front desk tasks for check in, insurance, ect. Answer online referral requests, phone referrals and benefits checks Assist with office cleaning procedures Update and create office templates, procedures, ect Work with collateral contacts to recieve needed information to process claism through alternate payors Facilitate effective communication between patients and clinical providers to enhance patient service experience Requirements Prior experience in a clinical settings is highly desirable Knowledge of ICD coding standards Experience working with EHR systems and managing patient records efficiently Familiarity with excel, google platform and Microsoft applications. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in fast-paced settings such as emergency medicine or geriatrics clinics Excellent communication skills focused on patient service and team collaboration Join us to be part of a dedicated environment where your skills make a real difference! Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
