Job Description

Job Type:
Full-time, Part-time, and Relief shifts available
Work Location:
In-person Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide direct supervision, support, and therapeutic interventions to youth in a residential setting Implement treatment plans and behavioral interventions using trauma-informed principles Support a safe, structured, and supportive environment Accurately document services and incidents as required Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and supervisors
Case Management:
Provide outreach, assessment, and coordinated service planning Identify resources within the agency and surrounding communities Implement and coordinate service linkages
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human services, education, or a related field or appropriate relevant experience Strong experience working with youth (required) Knowledge of trauma theory and trauma-informed interventions (preferred) Must be at least 18 years of age Ability to pass required background checks, including
BCI and FBI Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: Stand, walk, run, and sit Talk and hear Use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms Stoop, kneel, crouch, and physically restrain children The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Expectations:
Regularly work early morning, late evening, weekend, and holiday shifts Be flexible with scheduled hours to cover unfilled shifts Occasionally work mandated overtime and/or two shifts less than eight hours apart The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
