Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Oil & Gas Attorney to join a growing and well-capitalized practice with a strong presence in the energy sector. Our attorneys handle high-stakes energy disputes while working within a strong, reputable team.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and certify oil & gas title opinions (drilling, division order, and acquisition) Conduct complex title analysis, including mineral ownership, leasehold interests, and curative requirements Advise clients on regulatory compliance, leasing, and operational risk Support transactional matters, including acquisitions, divestitures, and due diligence Collaborate with landmen, in-house counsel, and business stakeholders on active projects Manage a consistent workflow of title and advisory matters with efficiency and precision
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar license in Texas 3+ years of oil & gas experience - litigation highly preferred but not required Strong understanding of mineral title, leasing structures, and curative processes Ability to manage high-volume workflows without sacrificing accuracy Excellent written and analytical skills
