Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as an Oilfield Winch Truck Driver and become a vital part of our operations in the energy sector! In this energetic role, you will operate specialized winch trucks to support drilling, completion, and production activities at oilfield sites. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient transportation of equipment, materials, and supplies across challenging terrains. Responsibilities Safely operate oilfield winch trucks equipped with manual transmissions, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies Load, secure, and unload heavy equipment, tools, and materials using appropriate rigging techniques and safety procedures Drive various types of trucks including flatbed, tanker, refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and tractor-trailers to transport freight across designated routes Perform routine inspections of vehicles before and after shifts; report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, route details, and load/unload activities for compliance and reporting purposes Navigate challenging terrains and adverse weather conditions confidently while adhering to route schedules Collaborate with team members to coordinate deliveries, pickups, and site access efficiently Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements suitable for operating heavy-duty trucks including manual transmission experience Proven truck driving experience in the oilfield or related industries with a focus on route driving and load handling Familiarity with operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and tractor-trailers preferred Experience with freight load & unload procedures using forklifts or other equipment is a plus Strong understanding of safety protocols related to trucking operations in oilfield environments Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy loads and securing cargo safely Excellent navigation skills with knowledge of route planning in remote or challenging locations Join us in delivering essential services that keep the energy industry moving forward!
