You'll work with one student who requires Orientation and Mobility (O&M) services for the new school year, collaborating closely with a dedicated Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) already supporting the student on a daily basis.

Key Qualifications:

Certification as an Orientation and Mobility Specialist (OMS) Experience delivering O&M instruction to students in school settings Strong communication and collaboration skills Commitment to individualized, student-centered support

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide O&M services for one student for 30 minutes per week Conduct assessments and develop tailored O&M goals and lesson plans Coordinate closely with the student's TVI to ensure consistency and quality of support Document student progress and keep educational teams and families informed Utilize adaptive equipment and mobility aids as required Support transitions and foster the student's confidence in various school and community environments
