Job Summary:

The On-Call Armed Security Supervisor will oversee security operations on assigned shifts, supervise security personnel when applicable, respond to incidents, enforce client policies, and maintain a secure campus environment. This position requires excellent communication skills, leadership ability, sound judgment, and the ability to respond effectively during emergencies. Duties & Responsibilities Patrol and secure school campus buildings, parking lots, and surrounding property Maintain a visible security presence to deter criminal activity and unauthorized access Supervise and direct assigned security personnel during shifts Respond to emergencies, disturbances, suspicious activity, and safety concerns Prepare detailed incident, activity, and daily reports Coordinate with school administration, local law enforcement, and emergency personnel when necessary Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor access procedures Enforce school policies, safety procedures, and security protocols Conduct security inspections and identify potential safety hazards Ensure compliance with BSIS regulations and company standards Assist with traffic control, special events, and after-hours security coverage Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times De-escalate conflicts and handle sensitive situations calmly and professionally Ensure all assigned equipment and firearms are maintained and handled safely Report any incidents, injuries, damages, or policy violations immediately to management

Minimum Qualifications:

Valid California BSIS Guard Card Valid California BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit Baton Permit (preferred) Pepper Spray Permit (preferred) CPR/First Aid Certification (Required) Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation High school diploma or equivalent Previous armed security or law enforcement experience preferred Supervisory experience preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work flexible and on-call schedules Ability to remain calm under pressure and in emergency situations

Client Required Background Check:

As a condition of the assignment with the private school, all applicants must successfully complete any required client screening procedures, including: Background check(s) Criminal history review Possible fingerprinting or Live Scan requirements Verification of licenses and certifications Employment and assignment eligibility are subject to client approval and successful completion of all required screenings.

All supervisors are expected to:

Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor Wear approved security uniforms and equipment Follow all company and client appearance standards Uphold confidentiality and professionalism while interacting with students, staff, and parents

Schedule Availability:

This is an on-call position.
