Job DescriptionPosition Summary The Event Center Staff Member supports daily operations at the facility by assisting guests, handling cash payments, and maintaining clean, safe horse stalls and barn areas. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform physical work in an agricultural/event environment.

Receive food and beverage orders from guests.

Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with established service standards.

Operate cash register, complete monetary transactions, and maintain an accurate bank.

Maintain cleanliness of workstation and storage areasGreet and assist guests, riders, and event participants in a friendly and professional mannerClean and maintain horse stalls, including removing manure, replacing bedding, and ensuring proper sanitationKeep barn aisles, wash racks, and surrounding areas clean and safeAssist with event setup and cleanup when neededReport facility issues, maintenance needs, or safety concerns to managementSet up banquet rooms according to event layouts, including tables, chairs, linens, and place settingsServe plated meals, buffets, and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous mannerClear dishes, glassware, and utensils promptly during and after serviceRefill water, coffee, and other beverages as neededAssist with buffet setup, monitoring food levels, and maintaining cleanlinessFollow proper food safety and sanitation proceduresMaintain a clean and organized work area before, during, and after eventsAssist with breakdown and cleanup of banquet areas after events QualificationsAbility to work around horses and livestock comfortablyBasic cash-handling skills and honesty in financial transactionAbility to perform physical tasks such as lifting, shoveling, sweeping, and pushing wheelbarrowsStrong work ethic and reliabilityGood communication and customer service skillsStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to work well in a fast-paced team environmentProfessional appearance and positive attitudeAbility to follow instructions and pay attention to detailAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to carry trays and lift up to 50 lbsAbility to bend, reach, and move quickly during serviceEvening, weekend, and holiday hours may be requiredAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
