Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Onsite Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of an affordable housing community. This leadership role is responsible for property administration, compliance, occupancy management, resident relations, and supervision of onsite staff. This position requires the selected candidate to live onsite as a condition of employment. 2-Bedroom Unit Provided Maximum occupancy: 5 people
What You'll Do:
Property Operations & Leadership Lead the overall administration and daily operations of the property Supervise onsite team members, vendors, and temporary staff Maintain high occupancy levels and support resident retention Conduct property inspections and coordinate maintenance needs Ensure building safety and security Partner with supportive service providers and community stakeholders Prepare and issue resident notices and documentation in accordance with company policies Resident Services Assist residents and applicants throughout the leasing process Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, and resident communications Collect rent and maintain accurate resident records Support reasonable accommodation and modification requests Work collaboratively with service providers to address resident needs Compliance & Reporting Process certifications and recertifications Verify income and eligibility requirements Maintain compliance with affordable housing regulations Utilize property management software to manage resident files Prepare weekly operational and occupancy reports Assist with regulatory and investor audits and inspections QualificationsRequired High School Diploma or GED Minimum 2 years of property management experience Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience Experience providing excellent customer service Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations Valid driver's license and automobile insurance Ability to live onsite as a condition of employment Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Preferred Affordable housing experience Experience with LIHTC, HUD, or other housing programs Experience with property management software such as Yardi Certified Occupancy Specialist or similar designation Bilingual Spanish/English skills Experience working with diverse resident populations Ideal Candidate We are looking for a professional who demonstrates: Strong leadership and accountability Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities Organization and attention to detail Confidentiality and professionalism Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Strong customer service and relationship-building skills Physical Requirements Ability to walk the property and conduct inspections Ability to lift up to 30 pounds Ability to utilize computers and office equipment regularly Occasional bending, kneeling, reaching, and stair climbing Why Join Us?
