5:00 PM Is Clearance Required To Start?: No Job Description The Structural Analysis Engineer leads the development, integration, analysis, and verification of structural systems throughout the product lifecycle. This role supports system design, structural integrity analysis, certification activities, testing, and in-service investigations for aerospace products and systems. Responsibilities Lead development, integration, and documentation of structural requirements to establish system designs Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams to define product operating environments Perform structural analysis using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations, and other engineering analysis tools Guide product design and verify structural integrity throughout the product lifecycle Develop test plans and configurations, support test execution, and analyze/report test results Define and document certification and validation results to support customer and regulatory requirements Support in-service products through failure investigations and corrective improvement analysis Develop and improve analytical tools and processes to enhance engineering efficiency and quality Support structural analysis activities with minimal supervision Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or related technical field 10+ years of relevant structural analysis experience 8+ years of experience analyzing primary structures, subsystems, or weapons within the aerospace industry Experience performing hand calculations and structural analysis using CAD and FEM tools such as PRO-E, SOLIDWORKS, AUTOCAD, NX/Teamcenter, CATIA/ENOVIA, PATRAN/NASTRAN, StressCheck, Hyperworks, or Abaqus Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret or Top-Secret Security Clearance post-start Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) Experience with Boeing Analysis Tools including CAESAR, Lifeworks, Mechanica, and Common Structures Workstation Prior Boeing work experience strongly preferred Education & Experience Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry (e.g., Bachelor's degree) and typically 5 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., PhD, Master's degree + 3 years' related work experience). accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
