For this position, we are looking for a passionate Onsite Staff Counselor to join our team, and who would support the employees at one of our customer locations in Ashburn, VA. As a dedicated Onsite Staff Counselor, you will partner with organizational leaders and wellness/benefits teammates to support their wellness initiatives from participating in EAP orientations, developing and presenting mental health-related educational content, working with managers to encourage employee wellness, to participating in critical incident stress management debriefings, and more. In addition, you will be responsible for providing onsite (in-person and telehealth) clinical services to support employees regarding mental health and work-related issues. This is a great opportunity to participate in various behavioral health programming that can support employee wellbeing within one organization. This position offers an opportunity to utilize your clinical skills and expertise in various ways to support both individual and organizational resiliency, work with various colleagues in the wellness space, and champion mental wellness across the continuum of care.
Primary Responsibilities Responsibilities:
Works closely with the organization's Health and Wellness Benefits team to promote the wellbeing program Consults with leadership regarding mental health and work-related issues Participates in behavioral health awareness campaigns Provides short-term EAP counseling via multiple modalities (e.g., in-person, telephone, video); supports organization outreach to encourage access to counseling services Manages client caseload independently in terms of scheduling and communicating with clients in-between sessions as appropriate Tracks and documents clinical services in a professional manner Provides cross referrals other offered wellbeing resources and benefits as appropriate Provides orientations on program services to employees Provides training and Lunch-and-Learns on mental/behavioral health topics Supports mental health-related content development for employee communications and events Provides management consultations and support for substance use and behavioral health issues Provides virtual and/or on-site critical incident debriefings Provides support to employees upon return to work post disability/leaves Participates in health fairs, enrollment and health promoting activities Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications Qualifications:
Master level licensed clinician At least 5 years of providing clinical services Clinical assessment experience in the following areas: mental health, substance use, and crisis stabilization required Experience providing direct counseling services and solution-focused therapy required Proficiency in treatment of various mental health conditions, life stressors, and client populations Experience working with diverse client populations Experience in providing culturally competent and relevant care Telehealth service delivery experience preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Sound clinical judgment, analytical, and critical thinking skills Ability to manage own schedule/client caseload and promote behavioral health services Experience providing behavioral health trainings Experience in work-related issues at a worksite preferred Experience consulting with management-level employees and collaborating with care teams preferred On-site EAP experience preferred Must be Onsite in Ashburn, VA Benefits and Perks Full benefits package, including Paid Time Off (PTO), medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, robust EAP, wellness program, and much more. The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $145,000 /year. This represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, and scheduled hours.
